One of the reasons that makes MSB stand out in the international community in the past 30 years is that we educate students for success in a changing world.

While the global pandemic caught many schools around the world off guard, MSB has been proactively acclimatizing to the new normal of education and striving to optimize the learning experience for every student with a vision to develop future-ready global citizens.

We were proud to launch the Information and Communication Technology(ICT) course in this new school year to support our students, teachers, and parents in best practices to meet the technological needs.

The course is headed by Jojit, who has sixteen years of experience teaching ICT at international school. At MSB, he teaches Early Childhood through Middle School and will offer parent education classes.

“Creating a common language and a set of best practices will be important for MSB both to best serve our student body in an ever-changing world and to make a transition to online learning in an uncertain future as smooth as possible,” said Benjamin, Head of School.

The lower elementary children begins with word processing, which places them in a perfect creative environment to learn typing skills and editing. The practical approach will lay a solid foundation for mastering spelling, English language, sciences, mathematics and many more, said Jojit.

Grade 5 students have the opportunity to express their creativity in graphic design, which will lead them to think 'outside the box' to solve challenging briefs. It will also help develop their patience, and skills in art.

The Middle School dives into programming/coding, the basic literacy in the digital age.

“It is important for them to understand and be able to work with the technology around them. Coding will help them with communication, creativity, math, writing, and confidence. Having them learn coding at a young age prepares them for the future,” Jojit said.
