MSB will be closed for the winter break from December 16 to January 4. We wish everyone a happy holiday and Happy New Year! Classes resume on Monday, 6 January 2020.

MSB welcomed various vendors to the annual two-day Winter Bazaar, which kicked off on Wednesday December 4, offering a dazzling array of jewellry, clothes, handmade bags and candles. Families were happy to pick up some unique gifts for the upcoming holidays. The selection of items offered the community a chance to pick something for everyone in the family.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, parents and teachers learned to create their original Thangka paintings at a Tibetan Art Workshop presented by Canadian Artist Tenzin, who has been living in China for 10 years learning and practicing the traditional Tibetan Buddhist art.

From Tuesday to Thursday afternoon, Dr. Coe and Ms. Romano worked with our teachers in professional development workshops that focused on how to “strengthen teaching & learning through Relationships, Rigor & Relevance” in a bid to improve instructional practice and student learning.
